Greg Tooke started Light Trail Consulting with the goal of offering a different kind of consulting experience; working with socially minded leaders to help them realize the full potential of an inclusive, purpose driven

organization.

 

By focusing on discovering the "why" or the purpose behind the work, he helps bring clarity to align people,

resources and actions to support implementation. Greg typically works with values-driven boards or senior

leadership on strategic organizational issues where an objective set of eyes and ears helps to understand the complexities and chart a positive path forward. At the intersection of business and non-profit, he brings

together the best aspects of each sector so organizations can build and engage their teams to sustain

positive change and improve long-term organizational effectiveness.

 

Greg leads with his values and has a varied background with depth of experience across many countries,

cultures and industry sectors. Acting as a strategic change partner or advisor where organizations struggle to break through roadblocks, need to transform or need interim senior leadership in a specific area, Greg balances the needs of profit and purpose across the spectrum of corporations, non-profits, government and other

community service agencies.

 

With a strong commitment to his community, Greg is currently the Board Chair of Brightside Community Homes Foundations, working toward to a future where people of all income levels have a home within a vibrant and healthy community. He also loves to share his experience and has helped coach and mentor new ventures with entrepreneurship@UBC, RADIUS Ventures and BC Innovation Council.

Steve Doherty has been working with Light Trail Consulting for over three years providing organizational effectiveness consulting supporting our clients through advisory and tactical services. Using a change-focused philosophy of: Invest in people, Deliver value, Provide practical and sustainable solutions, he has been helping clients achieve their goals from transforming culture to improving performance.

 

Steve is recognized as an engaging leader who develops strong cross-functional relationships, and excels in challenging situations that require innovative yet pragmatic solutions to ensure success is achieved. He is equally proficient developing a sustainable strategy or delivering tactical work that supports the business.

 

Bringing almost 20 years’ experience to Light Trail Consulting in the UK, US and Canada from various sectors including education, healthcare, government, mining, non-profit, software, telecommunications, transportation, and utilities. Steve is a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMPTM) and is PROSCI certified. He is also an active board member for the Vancouver Chapter of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP).

 

Steve’s combination of operational background, consulting assignments, management experience and unique leadership approach have developed a practical, personable, yet results driven consultant.
