International Society of Nephrology

Supported global Council and leadership through a period of institutional change, advising Board and senior staff on governance renewal, strategic planning, and organizational alignment across an international network of stakeholders. The work helped strengthen the Society’s long-term direction and leadership structure while supporting a modernized approach to governance and strategy.

Surrey Libraries

Advised the Board and senior leadership during a strategic planning process as the organization navigated significant growth and service transformation. The work focused on strengthening alignment between governance and leadership, clarifying strategic priorities, and supporting leadership as they translated direction into practical action across the organization.

City of Revelstoke

Supported Council, the CAO, and senior leadership through a strategic planning process and ongoing advisory relationship. The work focused on clarifying long-term priorities, strengthening alignment between Council and administration, and providing external perspective as leadership navigated complex municipal decisions and organizational change.

Monos

Provided strategic perspective as the leadership team strengthened its commitment to responsible business practices and progressed through its journey toward Certified B Corporation status. The work helped clarify priorities, engage internal teams, and embed sustainability and governance practices into the company’s broader business strategy.

Brightside Community Homes Foundation

Supported Board and executive leadership during a period of organizational transition and strategic renewal within a complex housing and community services environment. The work focused on governance clarity, leadership alignment, and strengthening the organization’s ability to pursue long-term community impact.

Client Perspectives

Light Trail steered the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) through a time of change. After a detailed assessment of all aspects of the ISN, over two and half years they worked closely and responsively with staff and voluntary leadership to help redefine the ISN’s vision, mission and values, develop a comprehensive strategic plan, institute a new governance structure and work practices, and support staff and leaders. Light Trail’s contribution helped to strengthen and modernise the ISN.

Surrey Libraries engaged Light Trail to support the launch of a new service delivery model. Undergoing this transformational organizational initiative is exciting and overwhelming.
